Tire question, 80-90 21 vs. 90- 90 21, need your experience

Recently changed my bars from 12" apes, to some really narrow T bars. Like 7" tall by 19" wide. My question is when I switched to the 21" from the stock 19" up front with the apes it had a little wobble at about 80mph. The wheel came with a 80 90. I had the wheel trued, balanced before it was even on the bike so i switched it for a 90 90, wobble gone.

Fast forward, with the T bars front end is heavy as fuck, no leverage. Its like going from power steering to no power steering. If i switch back to a 80 90 it should "lighten" up the front end so to speak, but I'm concerned with that wobble. Was it the apes or the tire? Is the 80 90 just a really narrow profile tire and that's how they ride? Any experience would be appreciated.

Here's an after and before:

It's the width of your bars that is the problem. 19" might look cool but that's not enough leverage for a larger bike like a dyna.

The bar leverage is definitely the problem, and IMHO the 90/90 is the better option and especially if your running a front brake. It'll help improve stopping performance.

Generally, when I hear about wobbles like yours, I start looking at the front suspension. I recommend stiffer springs or at least a PVC preload spacer and heavier oil.

It was worse when I had lower shocks in the rear and stock length forks. I read somewhere that you should lower the front as much as the rear, so I did. I also switched to the 90 90 same day, so Im not really sure which helped, maybe both.

I switched back to the drag bars and dog bones, wider than those T bars. Just not sure if the 80 90 will bring back the wobbles. Its really just for looks, because its planted on the fwy going 85, solid as can be with the 90 90.

I'm a fan of the 90/90, but maybe that 80/90 was way the hell out of balance or a fucked tire. It is a possibility. 90/90 is the way to go though IMHO for various reasons, i.e., looks good, handles good, stops good, not a noticeable difference in price, and to hell with skinnny women and front tires!
