Sporty throttle cable-switching to threaded????

i hate my push in cables and i cannot get the thing to stay in my biltwell assembly worth a damn. the cable is about 2-3" too long but it is the shortest one i found in the stash at the stealership. i would really like to change to a threaded end. makes me feel better in the assembly.. what year sportys had the threaded end? and will the other end fit my throttle body? i dont even want to attempt to make my own, for me it is easier to buy a $20 cable that mess with the hassle. i really need one about 29".

95 and older for the threaded cables. Dunno if the other end will work on a throttle body though.
