Being a Tool Whore I keep running out of space in roll cabinets and tool box's,
so last week I started to make me a tool box trolley with storage space under and a small but useful work space on top
all at the right height to work, while sitting on with my ass on a rolling stool,
I had some 3/4'' angle Iron and 3mm plate so cut up some for wheel mounts, ordered some castor wheels off of ebay for not a lot and started throwing it together Friday and all but paint I finished it today, I had some perforated sheet steel and some 2mm wire mesh with 1" square holes and a folding shelf rated to 150kg, more than strong enough,.... the whole thing has cost me about £30 ($38) and a friend will powder coat it for £20 ($26) 2 of my tool boxes fit in the top with about 1mm to spare all around, and a new box on top of my roll cabinet should give me enough space for a few weeks at least!!! hahahahaha
first I cut some 3mm plate, marked and drilled it, fitted some 8mm hank bushes and welded to the base frame for a good solid set of castor wheelsLast edited by Guest; 04-05-2020, 10:05 AM.Comment

should look a lot better when powder coated,
I get fed up with spending £400-£600 of tool box stands made of toilet paper strong Chinese reclaimed steel that fold, bend, Rust and fall apart in a few weeks,...
this one with the 3/4 angle iron should survive a Nuke or a week at a Kindergarten !!! hahahaha
& I joke ya Not, IF I had a spare 9000lb Winch from my Land Rover I would have fitted it as well !!! I love free (or near as free) Shit...………….
here are a few pics of it finished & in use...........Last edited by Guest; 04-05-2020, 10:09 AM.Comment
