Well, seeing how it is my dog's 1st birthday today and all, I thought I'd get her something special:

Happy Birthday Pinky!!

Little of both: struts, modified seat/ tail section, lower the front forks, custom oil tank, pipes, bars headlight mount and paint.

It's an A50 frame with an A65 motor so I'm not worried about destroying a potential resto or anything. Got an extra engine case in the deal as well.

What year ? Depending on the year all frames where A50 And that is a quick release front hub So I'm guessing a 67ish which would make it have A50 vin BSA vins did not match until 68 But the vavle cover is 68 and later the tank badges are style dents are 68 and later
What did you pay for it ?

OK that shows my ignorance. Care to decode it for me?

A50B4478

xtra case:

D65 2701 HC

I paid about 1/2 to 2/3 LA market price I think. It was a dude and his bro in laws project, bro in law passe away so dude lost steam and wants to fix his harley.

Not 100% sure but,

65LA606 0-Y ='67 lightning

A50B4478 = '64' A50c (usa model)

D65 2701 HC = 69?

Good score cheers.
