Looking at yours, it looks like you went quite a bit shorter, and lower than I'm planning to go... Just by looking at how far forward your shocks are, and how low they are on the swing arm.

But, yours is real, and mine is just a photoshop, so...

That said, my plan is to use the shock length and angle as the main thing I build. The upper shock mount will end up just about on the furthest corner back of the stock oil tank.... That is the plan anyway.

Have you seen that DMW bike? I have a pic on my phone, but I'll try to find the build pics of it online.

well, this is shorter than I was wanting to go on the seat rails too, and the shocks are further forward. This is more like your bike Bob...

But seeing this bike from the rear 3/4 is what got me thinking to do it this way.

My upper shock mount is gonna be the same height as stock, not any lower. Imagine the seat sitting on the oil tank, like the frame wasn't there. Real subtle...

These things are more for theft prevention than anything else. But police come to houses all the time for domestic disputes, also private property... Sounds like you got some kind of dumb ass on the phone.

Not trying to threadjack, but there are two or three commercial parking lots around my neighborhood that have watch towers. There's some ghetto ass apartments across from my house, it's kind of a problem.

looks great.

are the hoses vented to the ground or do you keep a plug in there to drain? getting ready to set mine up.

Man this bike is awesome. The fender mount design kills me though. Other then that, I really like this stance. Makes the frame look really cool.

Any idea how that affects the rear suspension performance?

No, they just dump tot he ground. Can't really plug them or you will get all kinds of problems. You can put them to a catch can with a vent, which is what I need to do...

It's gonna take a stiffer spring for sure. But the white springs on my bike are way way stiff already, so moving them up make make this thing ride worth a damn Not that it's intolerable, but it's stiff for sure...
