It looks awesome! The rear fender is smokin' and the handlebars are clean as can be (without going to a jockey shift/suicide clutch)...what do you do as far as all the switches are concerned?

You could change the sizes of your sprockets but keep the same ratio. That's how I had to clear the frame on my 07 with a 190 size busa rear wheel.

Ended up with this for the chain situation.
Really doesn't put an tension on the chain, just keeps it from hitting the frame. Prolly gonna end up notching the frame and boxing it in, but that won't be till I tear the back of the bike apart again. This will get me by for a little while.

No switches to speak of. Never had a horn, no signals and don't need a bright in Texas. The horn is the only reason I haven't gotten it inspected. I had a bicycle horn on these bars the last time I used them. Good for inspection, and honking at girls on the sidewalk, but that's about it it Well, i think that would pass inspection. Never got there when it was on....

Yeah, I was thinking about that... Will prolly be my last resort. I really don't wanna run any kind of tensioner roller thing on it, just don't want the clutter, so the sprocket swap might be the best option.

For some reason in my head, tensioner on the top side of the chain sap horsepower. It takes energy away from the rear wheel by trying to force the tensioner upwards to straighten the chain. that energy is better suited to move the wheel and not put stress on the frame and tensioner.

Well, it's just a bumper at this point. Only hits when the suspension compresses.

That must be nice! I would love not to have switches...I'd love to run Led Sled's kicker (for my Evo Sporty), but I just wish I didn't need to have a sprocket cover to do so (I'm planning on chopping my cam cover, so "full size" sprocket cover would really be out of place...I wonder if their cover has room to be chopped? Sorry, I digressed...your bike looks great...would love to have one even close to that nice!

Finally decided on a drop seat concept....
really not all that much to it. Just moving the shock forward 3-4 inches, at the same angle, and building forward and down from there. Still undecided on the oil tank design... don't really wanna do a round one, but it will just depend on what I can fit. I'm leaning towards a horse shoe ish design... in aluminum for sure. Battery most likely go under the swing arm.... unless I can fit it under the seat with the oil tank somehow. Might roll the dice on one of those tiny 8 or 12 cell batteries...
Put a few miles on it this weekend and it was a blast.
When the seat comes down, grandpa might have to ditch the high mids... or move them forward a couple inches, which would actually be pretty cool.

No. I may extend the chrome on an inch. But I'm gonna do that last. Just depends on har far the seat gets moved forward, if at all...
that's where Im at with mine. Im going to fit the 190 busa wheel and see how it feels for a while. I might extend the stock one a couple inches. The brake hose I has made I had it made two inches longer.
Side note, WHAt exactly is that tower thing? are you in texas or am I confusing you with someone else.

Yeah Billy is in Texas. And those are police watchtowers . parking lot survelience. They are in most shopping center/ mall parking lots in the DFW area. I've seen em in other cities as well. But they are EVERYWHERE in DFW.

From here, they just run to the front of the engine and tuck behind the frame. But they are Krank Vent Race valves with the barbs tapped to 3/8-24. Fittings just screw on. You can do it without the Krank Vents, but you will have to get a 1/2-20 to AN adapter and rethread the 20tpi to 13.

I'm all for the drop seat, I know cuz I did it. Couple things though. When you do it, it is a tight fit for an oil tank. NO room for the battery there. And you'll have to get the smaller battery. Also you might consider that swing arm extension , if you don't you'll have go with a reall short fender. Those are the biggest problems I ran across.
