Damn man! I have had a couple buddies lose bikes to leaky seems and carbs that floats would stick. Most losses were on old dirt bikes but a few good pieces of old Iron went up in smoke as well.
Walking away without injury is the best case senario. Things can be fixed but scars last forever.

Not that it'll help much, but Atom (24Cycles) had a great idea. How 'bout donating your miles to backwithabang?
I'm in, and I probably have a bunch (haven't looked in a long time...) Anyone else? Post up in here if you wanna donate your miles and Friday I'll tally it all up and send them his way as a gesture of goodwill from your bros at the old '33. Realize this will set you back to zero, but it'll load a dude in a bad situation up with a lot of new t-shirts!

My garage is not attached to my house but it's attached to my neighbors, would suck to burn down their house.
A roof is pretty easy to fix. Was it your house or a rental? Wood stuff is easy to fix. The firemen usually fuck shit up pretty good though.if it was your house get some beers and buddies and fix it yourself then take the insurance money and build a new bike!

Crap I was going to get some stickers ..
You can have my miles.
I keep a bucket with wet towels in it for tuning amals, those things will fuck you if they start burning, but a cold wet towel generally works better than a co2 extinguisher since it will smother across uneven surfaces like a flaming carb. Wet towels not rags get some surface area.

At least your'e not gone with a bang!
Sorry to hear your news, hope you get things sorted out soon. Don't have any miles to give as I'm a lazy lurker most of the time but I'm beaming positive vibes your way.
