Got the sprocket spaced today, got the seat from my leather man, and got the powder coating set up. Final lengths of correct diameter stainless exhaust pieces ordered, just waiting on the oil tank parts to show up, then we'll ALMOST be ready to tear it apart for paint.

Radiused fins. This piece cost me more than buying the original bike. Lol.

Photographer came up last night and shot some pics... working on footpeg hangers and getting the last of the exhaust done, then stripping her down for final welding and smoothing the frame.

Finished oil tank sides showed up today. Killer! Got ahold of Dan about my rear tire clearance issues... apparently a 150 rear tire will NOT work, have to go to the 130, which doesn't bother me in the least. Got it on order, just gotta take my oil tank and get it welded up (I dont trust my AL welding as only get one shot at this), then it's wiring and brakes and then off to paint.

Got the oil tank welded up today, just need the feed and return fittings (and a vent). Also got the exhaust re-welded (the upper pipe pulled on me from inadequate prep work the first go around), and the oil tank mounting brackets built. The lines are close, but are spot on after the rubber bushings are there. Got the tank in final primer, and started in on cleaning up some of the spot welds that we had holding little stuff on (like seat spring perches, rear fender brackets, etc). Will tear back down tomorrow night and start finish welding everything.

On a side note, the oil tank holds 3.5+ Qts of water (and it doesn't leak! Wowsers!). I was shooting for 2 to 2.5, I'm super happy with the volume this thing has!

First of. Looks great man!! Second.. How does this internal clutch work? Like an internal throttle?

Yeah, just reversed worm drive on a couple bearings. Still unsure if it is actually going to have enough pull to work on a daily basis, but it looks like it'll work right.

Tail light came in today. Got the rear tire swapped over, getting the front wheel in black to test out some new paints. Powdercoating was just too damned expensive.
