Cobra seats experience?

I really dig the lines of a cobra seat and have been looking for one for my FXR.

For those of you that run one...

How do you like it for long rides? Im planning on doing some touring this summer and want something that I can comfortably put a lot of miles on. I know this is subjective and different foam etc can effect this.

Do you ever wish you had a little back support/step up to "hold" you in? I had a really low pro TT&co seat on my sporty and I always felt like I was sliding back on it - granted a sporty seat is almost flat.

I know the gunfighter style seats are popular on fxrs for a reason, but Im not really into the line it makes on the bike.

Thanks!

I ,like them, they have a simple classic look and let you move around a bit more than other style seats. Had a LePera Cobra on my Sportster when it was still swingarm, now have a Mustang Cobra on it with the hardtail.

Thanks worn. That seat looks great in your profile pic. Do you charge long rides on it?

I've got an Old Gold king cobra seat on my 99 sporty. Super low profile but the hump going over the rear fender holds my butt in place pretty well. Here are a couple pics:
