correct headlight??

my 78 fxs has an earlier wide glide front end on it, no idea what year other than it has a drum with no visible external lever (the cable just goes right in there).

it has a 'hydra glide' nacelle on it, but because of the big ass headlight on it, the nacelle cant be bolted to the trees because i cant get it aligned. due to headlight interference.

so.

what's the correct headlight (size, diameter. part number. catalog number, whatever) that this thing should have so that everything fits nice and pretty like???

thanks in advance.

Well, if it's really a Hydra Glide front end, 1949 - 1957, Drag Specialties makes a repop 7" light for that front end that will fit with the stock tins. Assuming of course that your front end looks like this:

Manufacturer Part #: 20-6004H-BX-LB2
Catalog #: DS-280037

Hope that helps.
