Um, Arby, your last two sentences make no sense. Also, let me add, he never reached for the cops gun. He was blocking unprovoked punches. He got beat to death because he didn't tell these shit heads what they wanted to hear. He was accused of breaking in to cars, and they were accusing him and they had no evidence. The cop threatened to fuck him up as he showed Mr. Thomas his balled up fists before any movement ever occured, because Mr. Thomas was sitting and still being cooperative at that point.

I'm sorry, I wasn't there, I didn't see it happen live from a perfect angle, only what was on the video. Read my post again. Unless you're saying that they shouldn't be punished for wrongdoing I would think you would agree with what I posted..

I might have, but it still doesn't make sense. See, the issue with onlookers trying to get involved to stop it is the following:
1: Even if what the officer is doing can be perceived as obviously wrong, a civilian cannot, by law, interfere other than record and report. Trying to physically get involved can at the very least land a bystander with an Obstruction Of Justice charge, and at the worst can get you killed. Sadly, that's the way the law works.
2: No where in the video does it show Mr. Thomas reach for the officers weapon. It does show him reach out to stop the officers hands from hitting after the officer struck him without provocation at the 1:05 mark, and this after the officer threatened him at the 48 second mark, where the officer states "Now, see my fist? They're getting ready to fuck you up."
By the way, Mr. Thomas was never read his rights or placed under arrest, he was just being questioned, in which case he had a legal right to refuse questioning. Unless the police have just cause to stop you and have evidence to support their claim of a crime, they can't hold you or arrest you. That is called false imprisonment. These shitbags broke the law they are sworn to uphold and violated Kelly Thomas's rights. And oddly enough, it's right there in black and white with audio to support it.
Here's the video again, with the full audio. Listen closely where I said to listen, at the 48 second and 1:05 marks. Oh, and they beat him without officially placing him under arrest.

No matter how it's swung or justified, the cops more than abused their power as always. We have a stature that says "No one man is above the law", but we prove different daily. I myself have witnessed a cop abusing his power. Any cop becomes a cop, because they're an insure prick and power hungry. It's as simple as that. Kelly Thomas was just another innocent victim and he won't be the last. Until these cocksuckers actually pay for the crimes they commit as cops, things will never change.

I've already briefly mentioned this...
There's a really simple way to make these shit birds accountable. I learned it as an 18 year old in MCRD San Diego.
When one shitbird fucks up, make everyone else in the platoon pay. Monetary punishment is the way we are punished when we speed, run a stop sign, etc.
Yet, they pay nothing when they kill people and the city has to settle for millions.
Maybe if we took their vacation time, stopped yearly raises, effed with retirement percentage, a police officer would have stepped in and said, "How about we handcuff this homeless dude instead of beating him to death? I totally love beating innocent people up because I'm a cop, but I also love getting paid proper."
Bing fucking Bong! I am a god dammed genius. Mensa approved my application and doesn't charge me the annual fee... I'm that fucking good. Time to run for president.

in the past it took One...Maybe Two Cops to Kuff a Citizen & place Citizen into squad car.
NOW.... It takes the entire towns police force to subdue, beat, taze, & kill the citizen before placing into the car.
Also...... The pigs seem to be eating much more doughnuts than years past, almost every Pig I see now
is an over weight slob. I was eating lunch yesterday at a small eatery & two fat pigs were in there munching away,
made me sick.

Government only works with the consent of the governed. If you see something you cannot live with you must take action to stop it. We have become so complacent with our freedoms that we have let them be taken away from us. Our grandfathers were known as the "Greatest Generation" because they were willing to act when there was no other course of action. Look at what we have become. Look at what we have let the greatest country in the history of civilization become. Is it our legacy to become known as the generation that let our country be destroyed and all the rights taken away that they fought and died for? We still have a chance to change things. If we leave this fight for our children the odds will be insurmountable. Words without action mean nothing. "WHEN A LONG TRAIN OF ABUSES AND USURPATIONS PURSUING INVARIABLY THE SAME OBJECT EVINCES A DESIGN TO REDUCE THEM UNDER ABSOLUTE DEPOTISM, IT IS THEIR RIGHT, IT IS THEIR DUTY TO THROW OFF SUCH GOVERNMENT AND TO PROVIDE A NEW GUARDFOR THEIR FUTURE SECURITY" Should we act now? Or are you just going to wait until you see a video of your son on Youtube screaming for his daddy............
