    Default 1250 Kits?

I'm looking to snag myself a 1250 kit for my new (to me) 2000 883 Hugger. What kits have you guys used and would you recommend them? What should I look out for? Are there any brands or anything I should just steer clear of? What problems popped up because of your conversion? Are the bolt on kits really bolt on? Do you need to re-jet the carb? Etc., etc.

I recently did the conversion and went with the kit from NRHS performance. They do head work and basically everything you will need. Dan over there was very good to work with. will answer all your questions & and they have very good quality parts.

Yup, NRHS, and dont just do the kit. While its apart you really need to do the heads and cams, this will really open up the potential in the 1250

Dan's awesome at NRHS. Hes just about 50 miles south of me.
going from the 1200 to the 1250 is not going to be that big of a jump. The huge gains in performance seen with these 1250 kits has mostly to do with NRHS's awesome CNC headwork to get them to flow matched with a good cam, exhaust and intake and tuning.
I have rode his personal bike which is an 07 883 with a 1250 (like I personally have) Its not a 130hp bike, but after riding it a littel bit and he tells you it had 150hp you wouldnt doubt him. I think his bike is a solid 100hp bike and it will break your shoulders hitting the throttle.
