Groups in the Community Section.

So what's the deal with these groups. Looks like someone starts a group and then abandons it. All the ones I looked at said updated 1 year ago or updated 4 months ago. Seems to me that the purpose of joining a fucking group would be to participate in it.

yeah i joined a couple i think a while ago. usually it just ends up in the main forum. stuff like 'whos from michigan' types of threads.

It would make it more permanent if you'd get a tattoo for every group you joined.

Groups are only as lively as their instigators and participants. Most lose momentum quickly... Mine included.

Better idea: keep your thoughts and deeds in broad daylight on the appropriate forum. Most people have limited time for frivolity on the Innerwebs, so they spend their time where the most people congregate (main forum, blog dump and Facebook, for instance)
