Hot Rod Buell Rigid build

I picked up a 99 Buell M2 Cyclone wrecked bike at a junkyard. I recently bought a Nasty Bikes rigid frame and am starting the process of building my first ground up custom bike. I grew up at a shop helping build old 750 Sohc Honda chops. I am thinking I will go after a 50's style hot rod look being satin black.

Here is with the tank. I actually like the king sport tank for a slimmed down drag look.

Tomorrow is my bday and I think I am buying myself a mig welder to mock everything up

Curious to see how this build turns out. I almost started a similar build back with the redneck engineering mutant buell frame back in '05. Never got around to it for some reason, but I've got a near-complete sportster motor sitting on an engine stand that I'm needin' to do something with. Good luck!

I mounted a tank like that on a Buell chop. I dig it.

Good luck with the build. Keep the pics coming.

I am getting ready to start a build pretty similar to this. Looks like it is coming along nicely! Keep it going.

I was probably going for a M2 Cyclone as well.
