i bought a bike and it came with a truck load of old chopper parts. this springer is one of those parts, it has no brand marking on it and im not sure how old it is or who made it. so im asking all you if you have any idea who made this, when approx it was made, and how much its worth today. thanks

Its hard to tell with out seeing the rockers. The rockers can more or less narrow it down to a few brands.Comment

Im no springer expert, but I think its a Fury Springer with the rockers upside down. Here's a pic from the JJ

That's not a Fury. I'm thinking Smith Bros and Fetrow. They had 4 styles of rockers, and you could get the front rails in round, square, diamond, or twisted in 2 different diameters, and rear rails in everything but twisted.Last edited by speedandnoise; 04-30-2012, 7:15 PM.Comment

I think the old choppers are sweet but its just not my style, i would run a springer if it was like 2'' under, im more of a bobber guy than choppers, but you never know i might run them someday. hey aaronc, does your front wheel want to wabble ever on highway . i ve heard that and its a reason i prollly wouldnt run huge forks on my bike.Comment
