Am I the only one who thinks it odd that a "subculture" that describes itself as "independent thinkers" all wear the same clothes, shoes, hair styles, and listen to the same music? Counter-culture?.... please, just another group of fad followers. Remember "Grunge"?

Does anyone remember learning about Maslows "Hierarchy of Needs"? Right in the middle is "Social Needs". The vast majority of people feel the need to belong to something, so I can see how acting like an elitist and dressing like a bum can be an attractive proposition, especially when its clear they haven't figured out who the hell they are yet. So while they are annoying and a waste, I agree that Juggalos are infinitely worse and should absolutely be eliminated Auschwitz-style...
Wow,,,, like too many pages on this subject of non conformity.In our minds, we are not like them ,in their minds, they think, we are not like them .So that leaves us with the dis pute ,which group of "cool" is better ?which group is the real deal ?what does it take to actualy stand out in todays world, of purple haired kids in tight jeans ?In my day, the only ones with hair like that ,,where hard core punkers,with mohawks..You have bikers ,that covers a Large diversity of cultures ,all balled into the group Bikers.you have the 1%s,,the thugs,the rednecks,the yanks, rebels,west coast style ,east coast style,hippy killers ,hipster killers,the veteran groups,sunday riders,mods/rockers, dirt bikers crotch ,rocket riders chops,bobs ,customs,,,etc,all of these groups of people think they are coolest. the movement to be better than the others, is nothing new ,, Then you have the ,bite me i am what I am ,like it or not group,, this group is just a on going thing ,to out cool the other guys, just saying in reality, seems the young crowd ,wants the illusion of a freer time in american culture, to appear in their lifetime,in real life,it is 2012 not 1969, we all want to be with those, like ourselves .funny thing is, to be different, we are somewhat all the same,,,,,So build your bike how you want ,then go ride the piss out of it ,,,that trend will never end,,,
