1964 Ironhead w/mag rebuild this year.

So I bought a 64 xlch last year out in Maine in a stock frame that was hardtailed, running condition.

I pulled the motor, bought all new hardware, mounts, sprockets, cables, etc and popped it in an early 70's Paughco frame with a Century springer I'd had my 72 motor in. Scored a sissy bar, used the tank from 64, used a diff forward control setup, and ended up with this for last year. Also had my springer rockers rebuilt with new bushings, and put on some fresh top springs

So this year I scored a different seat, new paint job in the works, retimed and tuned her up. Put a new kickstand placement on it, new throttle assemblage. Gunna get some new pipes still. Also scored a new master cylinder...I figure when Im only running one brake on the rear and its on my handlebars I should make sure it works.

Also had my seat post bar snap on my frame, rewelded that. And replaced all the hardware with grade 8 bolts. Preparing for Born Free in June....a NY to CA ride will be interesting....

Heres a video if this years first kick start....completely cold for 5 months haha

The tank still needs to be painted/finished with the designs etc and im adding some orange velour to the seat strip....but figured I'd share on here since I've just always been a lurker and not a participator haha

Ran some real clean wiring, picked up a cycle electric regulator/generator.

Mounted my seat up nice and clean. Now im just waiting on Shotgun pipes in the mail, to finish painting my tank, and im having a custom cobra seat made.

Im riding it as is currently, so heres a few pics and a vid of this years Semi-Finished Product

At my buddies place keeping it inside for the evening....

And my lady friend's nephew trying to "help me" with some wiring woes

And heres a video of me being a jerk with it hahaha
