GoPro equipment, tips, and videos

So finally got to use my GoPro on my bike, only place I've mounted it so far is to the side of the tank, but here is my first video, nothing special just raw with no editing. Hopefully soon ill get a good video with some more bikes, these cameras are fun to mess with.

If you got some GoPro videos post em, or if you have some tips!

A little advice is to make sure you have a leash or tether on it. I've had a bracket fail and it was right after I got it. Lost my camera. But the company was cool enough to work things out with me. Great customer service.

How's the bracket for it? Is it a suction thing or what?

Also a bit curious about vibrations. Is there some kind of anti vibration mount that would prevent the waves or what you'd call it in the video?

I've just used the suction cup mount. I mean it does vibrate, but you can take it out when you didn't the video which I didn't do in my video. I have a few mounts so you can pretty much put the camera anywhere

i used the handlebar mount on my highway peg on this one. my buddy in front of me made some kind of wristband mount and was just pointing it at me and everything else like he was megaman.

oh ya, i used the roll bar mount. it's thicker than the handlebar mount and can actually fit around my bars / frame much better. might want to give that a try if you're looking to pick up accessories

i also bought the LCD screen for the back and never use it...so if any of you are considering buying it...don't! it sucks up battery and the wide angle really picks up everything you point it at anyway. no real need for a viewfinder.

my main complaint is i wish it had better audio recording.. i'm gonna try making something to deflect wind noise and stuff

I actually like using my LCD so I can see what I'm shooting, then turn it off.

Went on a 170 mile trip this past weekend. So here is my second video.

Enjoy!

Dont waste your time with the handlebar mount. I ran it twice and it broke. Helmet mount seems to work best. The suction cup is pretty good also. but the helmet turns out the best quality shot.
