Mormon Blockade/ Lane-splitting

So I was running a bit late for work this morning .Then the obvious happens. Hit all the red lights , waited at the train-crossing, get stuck behind the school bus stopping to pick up kids. OK..
Finally I hit the interstate only to get stuck behind what I like to call the Mormon Blockade.
3 or four drivers who feel it is their civic duty to regulate traffic flow by driving less than a car length next to each other, all traveling about 62 MPH. Is anyone aware if lane splitting is legal in Utah?

I do believe it is illegal in Utah

The majority of cops that I have had the pleasure of meeting around here tend to have the little man with big belly , small dick , gun and a badge syndrome. Buford T Justice BOY. Granted these are the interactions with the cops that pull you over for running drag pipes, no mirrors, signals etc. etc.
Would probably get the 10 squad car swarm for splitting if it is illegal here. " ON THE GROUND BOY!!!"

Fuck a bunch of Utah, beautiful state but man what a pain the 15 can be. I've had to drive through Utah a few times and every time it's been a mess on the 15. Best thing was when we had to stop for gas at some place in the middle of no where maybe 100 miles north of the Nevada state line, they sent someone in to "check on" my tattoo'd wife to make sure that the 6 month pregnant lady wasn't shooting up in the bathroom.

Can most def. relate to that. Very sheltered, naive, backward state for the most part.
Not being one of "them" you have to become immune to being shot the 'stink eye' on the daily .
I must say though ,some Mo's are the most down to earth, honest, generous people I know.
Just hard to get used to talking like Ned Flanders around them. "dingely,dangely"

An asshole's an asshole. I hate the civilian police. The jerk at the light that purposely pinches you off when trying to split lanes. Or the asshole that wants to race you? For what ever reason Motorcycles really hit a nerve with some people.

On the topic of Mormons, though I find their whole belief system wacky as all hell my opinion is the same for all religions. To each their own. For those of you who might not know Jeff Decker is a proud Mormon and one of my personal heroes. so with that said... An Asshole is an Asshole.

Wish he were my neighbor ! This is the type of dude I'm talking about. would probly come over and mow your lawn for you or help you fix your bike if you were laid up .. as long as it wasn't on a Sunday.

haha sorry, I just re-read that too, idiot me. I'd say its more of the people being assholes and blocking traffic and not them being mormon doing it.

Not really trying to bash Mormons. The Morman Blockade is just one of my playful nick names for things around here as I live in the Morman Mecca. Assholes are Assholes. Guess I'm kind of an asshole for naming it that.
