Yea dude. I sent them a template of my sissy bar and some measurements. I also sent my old seat so they could use it for referance. It was a plastic pan. Everything on the new k/q is handmade built from scratch.

I prefer working with metal. I did layers with 18gauge.. when I built this seat pan, I was thinking of it as part of the structure of the bike. The bucket is 10 gauge.

Those look pretty damn nice. I'm going to get off my ass one day soon and build a seat for my bike. Not sure if I'll go K&Q but definitely something better than what I have.
Also for the seat foam high density and closed cell. From what I was told by a guy that does boat seats open cell will act like a sponge and absorb water.

Here it is. Not bolted on yet cause i have to adjust a few things. Got a long way to go on the bike itself, but you get the general idea of it. The quality of the seat is amazing!

Thanks man. I'm still trying to figure out my pipes, think i'm gonna go with some tall upswept fishtails. I also gotta figure out my paint. Got a few ideas but just not sure yet. I'm having a blast building it. Hope to be done by december. The motor pulls strong and we just rebuilt the trans so thats all good to go. I'm also thinking the peanut tank looks too small with the seat on now. Any suggestions?
