My GoPro has definitely been an amazing purchase. Perfect for this kind of stuff. The Hero2 is so powerful,for $300, it's worth it.

Camera holds up great. Does anything you ask it to. And ask for editing software, I'm currently using Final Cut X, but I might drop back down the Final Cut 7. Don't really like the new layout. But anything from iMovie to Final Cut would work perfect with the GoPro.
