KZ400 carbs making a clicking sound?

Trying to post a video here, hopefully it'll work. The left side carb (stock) on my 1974 KZ400 makes a weird clicking sound while running. Feels as if its happening inside the float bowl, but I'm not positive. Anyone deal with this before? What could it be and how sketchy is it???
Assistance please
Thanks,
R

I can't get sound on my work comp so I couldnt hear it. Is it clicking when you open or close the throttle or just at idle.

if its when you open and close its probably no big deal just the slide closing, if its just at idle it might be something broken loose with your floats or something large in the bowl. Other than that I can't think of anything. I would recomend tearing down and checking everything.

It happens while the bike is idling mainly. I also noticed that the choke post is moving slightly each time the click happens.

I think your choke plate has one of those spring loaded flaps in it.

When the vacuum draws hard the flap opens then slams shut and that's what your hearing.

This is only a wild ass guess........ Unless I'm right.

How do I adjust that?? Also, the more I read about this it appears to be the Starter Plunger that's moving slightly...
I haven't disassembled that (yet) so maybe there's something clogged between there and the starter jet?

I really am just making wild guesses, but..…

If its what I'm thinking there is no adjustment.

When the choke plates are closed look at them, they might have some small rectangle doors in them. These are held shut with a small spring. Maybe the spring is broke or weak.
