Stop buying crap welders.....

Buy the time you spent your money on buying 2 made in china welders you could have got a good one that you can actually get service parts for. DO NOT GO TO THIS WEB SITE AND BUY ONE, just monitor one of the auctions and find out for yourself.

http://www.bidspotter.com/forms/prod...elder&x=35&y=7

These auctions are legit, I have equiped my entire garaqe using these online auctions, find an aucition in your area READ THE TERMS for the auction and bid.

Also another thing to consider when dudes tell you this welder sucks ( in regards to the lil cheapies and 110V) and plays a huge part in how welders perform, is how you power that welder, if they were using a small gauge 100' indoor power cord, of course its gonna suck. If the power in your old ass house is already weak, its gonna suck. take the same welder and use a large gauge 10" power cord (or directly into the wall) and you will get twice the power and it may weld really good.

and then get laughed at when you try and get parts/service at a lincoln dealer. Those home depot/lowes ones are NOT real lincolns, they are cheap pieces of shit with a lincoln sticker...

I have the Lincoln WeldPac 100, and it is fine for around the house kinda repairs. Small, light duty shit, otherwise it's not a good choice.
I've used a friend's Harbor Freight 220 mig he bought many years ago and I think its a good welder. The only problem he's had out of it was a leaking gas line, which he fixed and was back in buisiness, and he's probably laid miles of welds with that thing. I'll probably buy his in the not too distant future, since he got a name brand welder as a gift.
I also have a Miller Thunderbolt arc welder, which I like as well, just not for anything that needs to be pretty.

Need parts? Mine has never broken in the past 6-7 years, why would I need parts? Also why does it sound like you hate them? They are probably better than harbor freight ones, but likely made better. BTW the title of the post is "cheap welders" so if you are going to go cheap, at least get a name brand one.

I dont really hate them, but i do think its a little fucked that lincoln would do that, but thats besides the point. The thing im getting at is its not a name brand, its a name sticker. I buy name brand to get support and quality service, which you wont get with one of those. Im glad yours hasnt needed parts, my welders have...

Just get the Hobart 140 for 450-500 and never look back. When it comes time for me to get a 110v welder this is my choice and many othe welders I know recommend it as well. Best bang for your buck.
