Bad juju?

Since my bike is almost done I started looking around for a new project. Came across a add on Craigslist for a 73 cb500 that was being parted out. The frontend was smashed but the onlything I was looking for was a frame w/ numbers and a clean title. Called the guy up and struck a deal. When I went to pick up the frame I found out the history on the bike. He just recently picked it up at a auction, turns out it was owned by a local man that t-boned a car and later died of his injuries. RIP Now I feel a little weird about using this frame for a build. How would you guys feel about using this frame?

I agree. I'd be willing to bet the previous owner's wishes would be that his bike go on to be ridden again.

I had a Honda Magna V45 for about 4 hours that still had the last dudes blood on it. Thing ran like shit, so I sold it back to my dad. Bad move. He sold it a few hours later on CL for like a $500 profit!

Same here. I even had the idea of building it up then selling it and giving the money to his child/s if he had any but after a little research it turns out he doesn't. Thanks for the input guys. Feeling better about it now

Hell if I were to dye in a motorcycle accident, I sure hope someone gets my scoot back on the road or at least uses some of the parts.
And that exhaust is cool.

If any of you fuckers build something out of a bike that I die on, I will haunt you and.tip it over the rest of your life.

I'd build something from it, I don't believe in that shit.

if you're really creeped out, you could always go to a bike blessing. or, you could get chip coffee to come and tell the PO's spirit that it's your bike now.

NHmike...you crack me up.

I say write something nice like "RIP (previous owner's name)" or something like that in sharpie on the frame and then paint over it so that it's still underneath. Automatic good juju.

Never forget the "Green Bike" theory. Besides that, I'd say you make the most of her.
