vintage, street legal Husqvarna

I found a guy with a 1976 WR250 husky for $500. It isn't currently running, but complete with no rust. I am pretty unfamiliar with Huskys, except for the fact that they look awesome and like everyone else I liked the film with Smith and Mcqueen.

The bike sits a little high unlike the Mcqueens, but still looks pretty cool. Is it possible, and somewhat practical to turn these dirt bikes into street legal bikes? I know it has a lighting coil but thats about it.



What's yalls opinion on this?

500$ is a we bit steep for the 250 not running but if it is complete I would offer up 300$ best place for parts is up tight racing in Santa Anna Ca. and yes you can run lights on it DAM now I miss the old Huskey
