For that exhaust you have stuck together there, just be careful welding if it's galvanized steel. If you get pieces like that at auto parts stores here in the states, a lot of times they are galvanized.

Nothing wrong with galvanized. I mean, you don't want to huff the fumes for hours at a time, but the danger of metal sickness from welding galv. is highly over stated.

The tubes are not galvanized (they never are here in Sweden as far as i know,,), so it´s safe to weld in them.

Like I said, it is pretty safe anyway. I would assume that your exhaust tubing is mostly aluminized steel.

The capacity will by about 1.6 gallon each ( 6 liters)

Aw man, I gotta say this thing looked way cool the way it was in the first picture but I'm going to keep an eye on this. Really curious to see where it goes.

Looks wild. You could totally leave the tanks wide and put a custom leather bag between them (for your sunglasses, gloves, extra shotgun shells, etc.).

I might suggest putting adjustable restrictors in each of the pipes. Here's my old blog where I showed how I did mine.

http://www.demotofabandcrash.blogspot.com/

There's lots of ways to do it though. Basically, it allows you to adjust the backpressure of the exhaust. Your pipes look pretty low-restriction, but that's not always good, as it can lead to a few complications from loss of power to burned valves.

Just a thought. Keep on building!

Thanks for the tip, a leather bag between the tank,, great idea
I allready talked with "my" motorcycle mechanic ; he is going to chance some parts in the carburetors ( don´t know the name but i´m sure you know what i mean)
So; no risk for burnt valves i ´m sure! But for loss of power,,, i guess you have a point
I decided at the beginning of this project ; first i´l try to run the bike with no mufflers and if it feels to loud, i´l put a small silencer i the pipes. They are easy to build, i know.
So if the noice is ok , i will give your restrictors a try

Hey man, what about maybe trimming those pipes down and doing slash cuts or turn-outs or something? Make em flow with the rest of the bike a little more.

WOW! This bike when in a totally different direction I thought it was going to, I agree with the tanks sitting a bit too wide, and I'd be concerned about the fuel capacity but I do a lot of long distance commuting so capacity is a big deal to me. I like the idea of something in the center like a bag or stash compartment but if you have access to another exstinguisher can like the two on the sides why not tie them all together for a bit more running time between fill ups. and use the top one as the fill spot for all 3 tanks so the fill spouts don't stick out so wide. I really like the Mad Max survivor look that its got going for it.

Thanks ! I don´t have so much time left to finish up this bike. I´m trying to get it ready for a rally in 12 of may,, (and another in 26) so i´m going to leave it as it is for his summer and make some more changes next summer; Paint ,head lights, fork , rear suspension and so on
