Went ahead and got the bike out in the sun for some pics. Not much updates I ran my lines for the brake.

Got my headlamp yesterday and installed it.Its an H-D black LED passing lamp.I had the chanceto mock it up before buying and was smitten when I saw it in there. The pics dont do it justice. It cost me a small fortune.Good thing I get a decent discount at the dealer

Nothing crazy to show on this as of late, just a bunch of boring finish work.I got the tank cleared with spraymaxx 2K.It laid down like glass but im still going to buff and polish it.
I did find a place I had neglected. It is was the rear tank mount and it needed some love.

It was a huge eyesore,so I dug around my scrap and found some old stainless heat sheild

I cut it up to shape, polished it and threw some rubber on it and here is how it sits

Thanks.
I finished this thing up.Got a black seat for it instead of the brown one,the rear brake didnt work for shit so I put on the old master cylinder for it and got creative with some rear wheel spacing. Its been fun.....so far.

Thanks to everyone for the complimants and advice.I appreciate it.

I seriously just want to stare at that bike for hours, pretty much mind blown. Don't feel bad about posting another 50 pics of it.

Thanks .I would of posted more pics of it on here of the riding and such but my camera broke right after I finished it and my cell phone camera SUCKS. But here are some none the less.

At a friends suggestion I put the light in vertically and it looks much better.Follows the lines of the nacelle perfect

Gravitywerxs the light does indeed shine up into the trees but it is such a bright light it casts a beam out onto the road.Im working on talking a friend out of a moto light I will frame mount.

Props on this build man, thing is fucking ill...Where did you get that air breather from? Im assuming you just mated a generic type filter with a bracket from ebay or something?? Im interested in finding out exactly where that filter is from though.

Yea dude, the paint on your tank is my ideal paint job that I'd want on my bike eventually. I love these beautiful tank jobs but my bank is mostly a dark color scheme. So some sort of fade with black and grey/silver is what I had in mind.

Haha pcarter I might see you around. Evidence the assembly is made from a bunch of different crap I had laying around. The base is just a generic set up, and the breather bolts are reversed 04 and later sportster breather bolts that I tapped for the covers. The filter however is the tip of a Harley heavy breather filter. I just cut it off a old junk one and it fit fine in the base. As always I appreciate the compliments guys.
