It looks great! Did you get a prefab hardtail section, or do it yourself? That thing is going to be freakin' fast..... Those 1ks are fast anyway, but chopped down like that, it is going to scream!

BTW... Why don't you think you'll ever get it finished?!?!!! It's screaming to be ridden!! Definitely one of the better looking KZ1000 out there. Nothing flashy, perfect stance, clean and custom... GET ON IT or I'll come over and buy it from you then proceed to ride that sucker 100mph all the back to Vegas!!!

They had them up to I think 1980-81 after that no kick start.
I have a 78 KZ1000 with a kick and a 82 KZ1100 without.

Good info to know. Seems like around that time every manufacturers were getting rid of the kick start and switching over to electric start only.
