+1 send your old tank and they can match up mounts n such. locate the cap and petcock where you like. Spend the money its worth a one of of kind tank. I think anyhow.

Hit up Mike Reed (southern Indiana) at 765-661-9618 (phone or text)... he's a freakin' wizard with sheet metal and especially tanks.

He mentioned that his holds around 3.2 gals but he's looking for a different style tank that is either the same size or larger.

yeah i really apreciate the help but im looking for something that i can bolt on my 99 and at least hold the same amount of fuel. i have a hard time keeping off the throttle so it seems i go through a tank in 80 miles. ive been looking on debrix and they have a few custom mounts but id prefer something bolt on.

Are you sure your burning the whole 3 gallons?? My stock tank was also a 3.3 and I'd hit reserve at about 90 miles. But when I'd fill it back up, the pump wosuld top off at just over 2 gallons. Like 2.1-2.3 gallons. And that's it being bolted in stock location. I didn't have any tank lift brackets or anything.

Also, its possible to build a custom tank and have it fit stock mounts. I've done it to a couple rubber mount sportys. Pre rubber mount will limit you on how low the tank sits since it has those rocker mounts in the back if your running the bolts through it. I say just add a bung to the frame for the back mount. It's easy.

yeah good point, when i fill up its usally in that 2-2.5 gallon range. so is it safe to say the reserve is around 1 gallon? how far have you gone on your reserve?
