Well I was planning on taking the chop out this Saturday but after taking it on test run just now after a few carb adjustments I noticed I'm leaking oil out of some gaskets. Time to take apart the motor. I still have the sporster to ride if I do go out on Saturday. Let me know what all your plans are. Maybe I'll meet up

howd it run being alittle warmer? wheres it leaking from I have some gaskets form when I rebuilt mine 3 months ago

Both the head gasket and base gasket. Probably original gaskets. Guess its time to crack her open. I'll prob start a thread on this. I've never done it before so I'm not sure what else I should look for once I have it apart. At least I got a manual on it.

yea those are the ones I used. its pretty straight forward if u have the manual

Looks like I'll hone the cylinders and replace the rings to as recommended. Time to learn
