What sideshow were you in? I always loved going to them, when the Illustrated Penguin(Jason Brott) comes through with there sideshow I ususally go hang out with them for a day.
Forget getting tattooed for 12.5 hours, I hate anything after 4 hours. But I will do this for about an hour:

Ain't no big thing, wanna see tough go volunteer for the wounded warriors. I know guys that got most of both their legs and part of an arm done in like .05 seconds, if you're really tough go volunteer at the pediatric burn unit. I only had to do it for one day during clinicals and I till have nightmares from that shit and I've seen some really fucked up stuff in my day.

I'm just sayin' I don't see anything bad ass about getting a tattoo, even if it took 12+ hours. Purple heart doesn't make you tough either, it makes you lucky and it usually means someone like me or my counter parts did our jobs right. 8404 FMF Corpsman myself, maybe I'm just desensitized to the point where stuff like this just seems unimpressive and an attempt to justify ones own need to be cosidered a bad ass. Most people that have to brag are anything but that. I'm more impresed by the people that have the humility to help and care for the more horrificly disfigured victims on a day to day basis. Thats what tough means to me, try caring for a 3 year old that's been burned over 80% of their body and been so badly disfigured they're barely recognisible as even being human by their parent.

No pics=Didn't happen.
I could get tatted on my arms or legs for 12.5. But the 6 I spent on my ribs was brutal as fuck.
