i work in the clothing industry for a well known Skate and Surf brand and speaking from my day to day work these jeans are $400 retail = $175-200 wholesale = $60-80 manufac cost in some shithole factory in China.....the mark ups on this crap is insanity!

but........it pays my fucking bills so i won't complain.. if someone has the $$$ to burn and needs to think having these jeans will make him cool then so be it...

I guess replying to this thread voids my stand on the subject but it's this ...
A favorite joke of mine is , How many teamsters does it take to change a lightbulb ?
None of your fuckin buisness ! lol
I have a pair of thick riding jeans and what I paid for them , where I got them , when and if I wear them is just that ...none of your buisness.
If you have nothing better to do than shop around for your anger and resentment ...as well as support slave labor with cheap disposable clothing then thats your buisness but dont trip out on somebody that wants nice things for themselves because it doesn't fit into your perception of cool.
I'd rather throw a couple extra bucks at quality made in North America and help feed my neighbor than care about what you think is an acceptable price for my clothing.
lol
Those ROY jeans look great! THANKS FOR POSTING THE VIDEO!

It cracks me up that people defend spending $100 a year on jeans but it's not ok to spend $100 on a pair of jeans and wear them every single day for a year.

or....
200 plus for a custom glitter helmet , 3 times the price for brass pegs and risers, 200 plus for an old bates seat ...the list goes on .
Let folks do their thing and leave out the hate'n and name callin' .
I'd say the questions and anger should go to the folks that keep people unemployed and taxed , not some young upstart with no kids to pay for lol

i dont think anyone was putting down hand crafted jeans. i think most people are saying they are too fucking poor (including myself) to buy a pair of jeans that cost that much.
if someone has the $ to burn, then by all means, knock yourself out.

would i buy a pair of those if i didnt have to pay rent?. fuck yes i would. and i hope they would be worth every single blood penny spent on them.

Going to try a set of the fire hose jeans, I'm tough on jeans so maybe the extra $ for ones made out of the fire hose stuff will last long enough to be worth the extra, but with my track record $375 for a pair they better come with a surprise ending.

I never met anyone who rocked a pair 365 days straight. How do you do laundry? Those would b some stinky ass jeans...probably get very little pussy to...guessing if wear jeans 365 don't change your drawers much then either. If not working can make a pair go 3-4 days. And that's usually if rotate...power to ya if go a yr straight

I once saw a man who didn't change his socks for over a year, he had maggots crawling out of the tops of his feet. I think he may have had some other issues, but it was enough that i change mine twice a day now. 3 days is about as long as i wana wear the same pair of jeans, and thats only if i have to.
