Called through the switchboard and was able to reverse track the officer again.... Left him a voicemail explaining that I am worried that it's hot. He'll prolly just get back to me and say he ran it but I'm a bit worried now. Hoping that if it's not hot I can get the cop to give me the dudes address and just go by there.

hahaha...or dude did steal it, and went down said fuck it...you think though they would of realized it was stolen at the time of the accident...someone called it in stolen? or maybe the owner doesnt realize it yet? maybe its a dealership bike? but then again theyd be trying to get it back asap you would think

My thing is this.. there is all this info to prove he was on it. If it were stolen and I was calling you to get it... I would think that you would pick it up and dump it somewhere so that it cannot get tracked back to you??

he's claiming it was stolen waiting for the check to come in and everything to show he does not own the bike anymore get the payments (if new/new) done and then going to collect to swap the parts with numbers out.

that would be a thought...but you would think a police report would show he was in an accident? or he tells the insurance co he left it at the scene, on the side of the road, and when went back it was gone? maybe this guy had it planned all along?

Spoke with the cop for a while. The bike is not stolen. The cop left him another voicemail too. At this point.. fuck it.
(gave him the vin and he checked it while I was on the phone doing multi state search)
