Well, going against what, most people suggested, I traded that whore of a bike Ironhead. I worked a deal with a guy through here for a '76 CB750 Chop. It's in a C&G Frame, gonna be a kick only and I'm super happy with the deal. When I first started getting into Choppers it was the CB I was attracted to and I'm goad to finally have one. It's running and only needs some minor stuff done like throw on a fender, which came with it, put on the chain, which came with as well. Anyhow, here's a pic of it.
And here's me and the guy making the trade. I figure if he wants you guys to know who he is, he'll chime in, hahaha.

nice, the cb definitely looks cool!!! doesn't really matter what other people suggest as long as your happy with it and thought it was fair, that's all that matters...
only other thing i'd do is a new back tire and get rid of those hose clamp for the rear tank mount...

I dig the set up as is. Was thinking about a Coffin, maybe in the future, but I'm just going to put the stuff on that needs to be on and ride it. I'm not even going to spray the tank, hahaha

i think it looks good as is, like you said just button up the loose ends, you might want to do something about that seat tho, those springs don't look very comfortable...
let me know what size tire that is, i might be able to come up with a good used one if your interested...no $ just shipping or if you want to come down to mass to grab it...

i'd have made that trade in a second. new ride looks great, only thing i'd change is the oil tank to a round one, and maybe some mx bars with a little rise/sweep. and leave the raw metal raw.

Thanks man! I'll shoot you a pm later when I'm on a computer about the tire, it's a 17. As far as the bars, I put on some Windows I got with the bike last night. I can't ride low bars, they kill my back, hahaha

Can you take a side shot of the CB please?!?!?!!!!!
I ask because out of all the C&G frames that I've seen, built and searched, mine and yours seems to be the only close to stock racked C&G frames out in the public. I've searched endlessly to find the C&G rake like mine and have come up empty. I think we have (if yours is like mine) a really rare frame. Just saying.

Ya, I'm not nuts about the bars, but they're better than the broomsticks and they came with the bike. Not sure about the pipes yet, still thinking about it. I got the cut off drags you see, as well as a 4-1 but don't really want to go that way. For now I'll use the cut offs and figure it out down the line. More than likely just a classic set of drag pipes, I always thought they looked good on these.

Actually, the ads for the frames said that they were several inches over stock and no ads have been found with the rake on our bikes. I'll try to find the old ad...
Here it is...
This is Mr. Fucking Brandons C&G bike we built with the rake.
With close inspection, there is no way it was chopped to bring the rack back. I've been searching for the past several years and yours is the only other frame like mine that I've seen. Even the cats over on the Hondachopper.com board haven't seen one without the rake to it. Pretty cool in my opinion cause like I said, never seen another frame with the rake like mine. I feel like I've found a long lost brother!! HAHAHA!!!
Anyway, sweet trade and I'm sure you'll enjoy the fuck out of you new bike and have the pleasure knowing that you have a pretty rare frame in your possession.

Its always to each their own and with that said I will say inline fours do nothing for me since moving out of the crotchrocket scene/speed obsession. However, that bike looks fucking sweet and so does mad750's! Some of the best lookin CBs Ive seen for sure.
