1" LED light- where to find?

I'm making an aluminum housing for a tail light very similar to the way Special 79 made his, i know it was a 1" light but i can't seem to locate a good one online. My project is at a stand still until I can locate where to buy the LED pack that he uses, Jay if you see this or if anyone knows and can link me up I'd greatly appreciate it!

    Thanks ahead of time

he already told us he USES them, haha

Quoted from Afterhours in another thread a few months back....

Yup, I use Radiantz clusters. They're $15 no matter where you get them but shipping is cheaper through me.

Hand made one-off lights are the best! That's how I got started making them, there wasn't much available years ago. There's a lot of great one-off lights on the forum.

I'll be honest i don't know the difference between 1156, 1157, and no base style lights, is the base the white peice they all sit on? i dont need anything but the hard wires and the fixture. Just don't wanna order the wrong thing.

thanks for all the quick responses that helped big time, heres a picture of the housings im making..

It's gonna be the two of them offset to the left of the axle

You want the no base ones. They come with the 3 wires ready to terminate.

Unfortunately i can't take credit for that, the guys at my school in the machine shop had it but it was a home made by them. Pretty simple, just a pivot point, handle, and a base with a couple well laid out lines to get it set right. I'll try and get some more pics of it for you
