Because the question is membership grew by several thousands in not very long. That would mean it will continue to grow. So, exponentially speaking it could be over 30,000 in the next year.

I've got a pretty stupid ratio of views for like the two months I've been on. If you want a crazy amount of views put a broad in yer Avatar. It's creepy how many veiws a chick will have and have only like 2 posts. Gotta love the interwebs.

So, if there are something like 18000+ people who have signed up on the 33, and only 13000+ members, does that mean that Billdozer has variously punted, expunged and slaughtered on the order of 5000 now-former Cultists?
Shit Bill, how do you have time to run a business and ride bikes?

I've only punted a handful of real members. Spammer trolls that try to sell Ugg boots and bullshit sign up everyday since we hit a certain point and that is why we verify each new member by hand and weed out the spammers. So, yeah, there probably has been 5,000 of them who signed up and got booted before they could post anything on your profile or in the forums. If you guys who have been on here a while remember, we had a rash of those about a year ago and we changed the way we accepted new members. About a month ago I got some help on this and boy am I grateful to not have to go through those shitbirds everyday.
Also, Allen is a huge help with moderation. McGoo (Hal Wade) does a lot of heavy lifting and all the good writing. Street Chopper, L7Josh, Show Class and SPL79 Jay pitching in on stories for the main page is a massive help. Rubbertree keeps the 0's and 1's running like they should. Mike D, Kenzie, Carrie, David, Joyce, FS Eric and everyone else is constantly busting their ass on Biltwell stuff, so it's way more than just me working on this junk. And yes, Nosebleed, the old 33 is still quite a bit of work which probably explains why my projects still take WAY longer than they should! Speaking of that, I've had enough of computers, I think I'll go work on my slow moving Triumph project...

let me be the first (in this thread) to say thanks Bill and everyone else. You do get a ton of credit because youre one of the CC gods who shows your face around here from time to time, but youre also so damn hansom.

You rule!
I would welcome you out to my garage any day. Relax I know how this internet mod shit can wear a guy down. I did i for 5 years, I have mucho el grande respect for you and what you do.
Brenden.... well lets just consider him fun for the rest us us. For the rest of us. And Bean? Well, we all know we want this place that you gave us. You gave us this place we can all go to talk about a bearing that is not fitting right, or how to tune a carb that is not cooperating. Bill I hope to be able to shake your hand one day. Because if it was not for this institution that you have givin all of us 33'ers. I would not be a biker like I am now. I would be there for others on this board.
I have made friends because of what you have done. You my friend, sit back. Drink a beer. I just sent biltwell $170 so drink a case.

Haha; I got a response from Billdozer. Seriously though, pretty much any damn time I log on to CC here in the central time zone, sure enough, there's Bill in the PaciCaliPrettyPeopleHippy time zone, logged onto the CC, with his "flip flops and pop tops", trolling through the enormous volume of pointless shit and helpful tech posted onto this site.
Honestly Bill, I just don't see how you fellas manage to spend any time here, what with the general Biltwell business, the jet-set rock and roll lifestyle, the family and friends etc. So, thanks for that. And by the way, I don't recall you fellas visiting Austin, TX recently, and that makes me sad. So sad. Visit soon. We have some good fellas here, decent bikes, and good moonshine.
