This is something I have been thinking about for a while now and finally decided to get started. I made it as a kit that can be installed on any 86-03 Sportster but it still needs some finishing touches. Just here for feedback and to gauge interest.

interesting as a 'kit', any specs to share?
tubing size - diameter, wall thickness
how much is seat dropped?
can the front be dropped further?
are gussets available?
you provide details for cutting frame for fitment?If buildin' old school choppers was easy, anyone could do it... ain't nobody said it's gonna be easy... -
1.25x0.120 tubing
seat is dropped to give as straight a line as possible down the back bone
Front does not drop any further
I don't feel that gussets are needed but if you have the skills to install it you should be able to make your own
Measurements are pulled from the rear engine mount for the frame cuts
I'm not sure I'll move forward with it as a kit or not, just wondering if anyone would be interested in something like this. It's fairly easy to install as designed but still requires further fab work for the oil tank, fender, and battery mounting.Comment
