Ok, my wife was asking if she'll be able to get in touch with me....not knowing exactly where I'm going, is there cell service. Also, I have no way of charging my phone on the bike, would I be able to charge up here and there?
Honestly, I'd rather not bring it at all, but I'm trying to keep the Mrs. happy.

Matt, it's all good. I'm bringing my friend with his buell and it'll be the lady and I on my bike. Can't fuckin wait!
NHMike, I have a cigarette lighter outlet with alligator clips that I use to charge my phone off my bike, you could easily make one from radio shack parts.

Yes, Vermont is backwards...
BUT
We do have cell service at the farm. You should also be able to find an outlet for your phone (I'll set up a powerstrip in the sugarshack for phones at some point this weekend)

Good luck man. Same thing was happening to me. Turns out the po put the rear master linkage together ALL tucked up and the return spring wasn't working.

OK guys.. need some advice.
My rear tire has one spot where it appears as though the cords under the rubber are starting to show. Cash is tight right now and I may not be able to replace the tire pre-WPR. I'll wind up probably putting just shy ok 1k miles on the odo between getting up to VT, riding saturday, and going home. Do I run the tire, or just take the cage up to hang out and forfeit riding?

I hate to tell you not to ride, but I'd be very leery to ride 1000 miles on a tire that is showing cords. What size is it? Maybe someone has something laying around that you can use. You never know.

I'll keep my fingers crossed, there are two local indie shops that work on sportbikes too. Damn 17" radials ain't cheap.
In the odd occourance one of our more affluent brethren *cough Matt *cough has a 180/50r17 laying around or known someone who does, id gladly pay you Tuesday (probably later than that) for a hamburger, I mean, rear tire today.
