When my Sporty was for sale, I put an ad on Craigslist titled "Modified Harley-Davidson Sportster." A month went by and I only received few emails inquiring about the bike so I replaced the word "Modified" with "Bobber" to attract potential buyers. Sure enough, the false advertisement filled my inbox with emails.

I too get annoyed with the over-usage of the term, unless it's referred to a girl who's head is bobbin' up and down.
