There are a few rough spots on my stuff, just enough to tell it's cast. I like it to look like it was rubbed by hand as opposed to machine polished. I love the "hand made" look. Probably explains why I can't bring myself to buy a wheel even tho I know it will make the work easier. Some things just
have to be done by hand. I envy that you've let the monster run wild. The temptation is there, but I've conviced myself the my build
must be as low key as possible. With four kids in the house, "me" time is a little thin. I'm not saying that I could do what you do, but if I let go the reigns just a little.. well, you know how it is, sleepless nights obsessing over every little detail, spending hours on something then you look at it one day and it ends up in "the pile", replaced by another time/sleep killer.....

Speaking of polishing, my 7MW fender came in, I get the shakes every time I walk by it....
