Oh man, a lot of work in store for you. What are your plans?

The mallet is no big deal. Are you afraid when the surgeon skillfully uses his bone saw?
Probably, but that's because a leg has to come off, but sometimes that's necessary.

If you kick yourself over this bike when I finish it, I'll be stoked!

I don't quite know... 21" front wheel, spool. Re-chrome all the parts that are hurting for it. Top secret sissy bar I'll start building soon. Nothing too crazy, I'm not trying to pretend this is an original, ground breaking chop.

I like simple flow.

The story behind this bike is pretty cool. It belonged to a club member out here in LA. Someone stole it from him and started taking it apart. For some reason the club member never went to the police, he just found the dude and managed to get it back.

The guy at my work I bought it from said, "There's been a lot of blood spilled over this bike."

So that's pretty metal.

i'm also thinking i have to make the exhaust this time.

this bike deserves something that didn't come off the shelf. and i've never tried to make exhaust before, so... There will be blood.

i'm not sure. all i know is the vague story of;

stolen from a club member/stab stab stab/ bike is back/ club member passes(non related)/ wife gives bike away to my dad's employee/ he lets it sit for years/ gives to me.

i've asked for pics of the bike complete but he doesn't have any.

Just to be safe I'm going to retract that "Gay" comment about the red color,
cuz we all know that Red club don't fuck around.

Hahaha! The cylinder was red, too. But I needed to use it on my '59 since that bike was at .80 over with scarred cylinder walls.

So I have Red Club components on two of my bikes... For good luck.

Slight update.

I need to move faster, but keeping the fleet maintained is super time burdening and costly.

Cleaned up.

Frame with front wheel.

Shaving.

Hahahaha!

I haven't even begun to get frustrated with this yet.

Plus basket cases aren't worth much.

Man... I'm regretting the confidence I displayed in the first post of this thread.

I procrastinated some more. Effing around with my '59 Triumph. I'm such an idiot!

Still trying to get this ready for Born Free 4. It hasn't been easy without Keith Moore.

There's no way I would even be this far without Chris (Chopper88). He's been an amazing friend and assistant. He pretends to work, and really takes my crap to chrome, powdercoat, machine shops, etc. He's a good man and has a smoking hot wife who totally wants my junk.

ChicoD has also been awesome. I could not have sourced so many missing parts without his personal stash and his wicked rad connections.

Tony from Classic Cycles has also been a great help.

No idea why I'm thanking people when the bike is still a ways away... But it has taken a lot of work to get it to this point...

Prepping the engine for a later 650 crank(thanks Tony).

This iron head needed repair and some sandblasting love.

Used our machine shop to make custom sump plates.

Rechromed fork legs. New bushings.

Tranny ripped apart to get all new bushings/seal.

Head repaired and looks aluminum now.

Chrome.

Filling mystery holes in the frame with Chris.

I went nuts and cut the cap off of an unusable BSA 441 Victor tank. Then cut my British wassell. The 2 will become one. After I cut down the flange on the BSA cap.

Found a random tail light lens. Was going to use it on my '59. Thought it would go better on my '50. Making a bulletproof bracket. Triumphs will let you know if you make something too weak...

Slight mock up. Just got the rear tire in. So I can get the fender mounted. Then blow shit apart for powdercoating.

I believe his wife is still waiting for a buyer.

It's not open. If you need parts, call Tony or Andy at Classic Cycles.

Thanks man...

I think I can make it as long as nothing catastrophic happens. At the very least, it rolls, and I'll Fred Flintstone it down there.

The people burning me are the fucking chrome shop and powder coater. Lagging ass mother fuckers. Chroming threads and shit...
