That's definitely from a engine T.O. (old school one at that). I'm in the military, work on jets and this is pretty much what our day to day job includes. As for going left after finishing it - it's so the wire doesn't slip over the top of the bolt head. Have fun guys

For anyone that doesn't want to drop $$ on the snap-on pliers, just do it by hand. I do this everyday on different things, and a roll of .032" wire and wire cutters, duck bill pliers and some time is all you really need.

If you want to get tight looking wraps it isn't about how hard you pull, it is just the angle you do it at. hands wider apart = tighter looking wraps, hands closer together = looser looking wraps.

I'd rather do it by hand usually anyway.

Harbor Freight carries two different sizes of pliers and they run about $12
