Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes - '92 XLH1200 (Formerly Cougar to XLH1200 thread)
On Monday I'm headed to CT to trade my 1978 Cougar for a 1992 XLH1200. I'm pretty stoked and can't wait to get my hands on it.
We've been talking back and forth (I found it on CL) and I think we're both getting a good deal. He's sent me Vids of it running through the gears and a supposed cold start. I told him if it wasn't as described I'd walk, and he's been pretty up front with the little stuff it will need.
It's got an S&S Carb, progressives in the back and drags. Someone did a "Bob Job" (hahaha) on it, supposedly it wasn't him, but who knows. How do you like those rear blinkers? LOL
I've got a vision as to what it'll look like, but I'm not saying NOTHING!! I'll update this thread as I make some changes.

I see adjustable pushrods as well. Nice find. I've done trades with my last four bikes and 2 vehicles. It's nice to keep the that sales tax money in your pocket.

Well, we don't have tax in NH, or so they say. There's a "registration fee" that's based on the value of the car. So no matter if I trade it or not, I still have to pay. Ya, exactly, it's a fucking tax.
