Thanks guys.

The rear rim is a 21" front off a 98 yz250 laced to the yz250 rear hub. The front rim is a stock front off some mid 90's Suzuki... I have a matchin tire for the front when the time comes.

G'day Ben.

Nice work mate, I really dig the chassis work!

BTW, that's certainly not "just another XS650" its well left off centre, but in a great way!

Cheers

Steve

Is that about 1" of ground clearance? That's gonna be a little scary when you go to ride it and want to turn.

Killer looking scoot. It looks like its leaned over on the frame standing up. How you gonna ride it?

definately is sick man and i do believe you have it down the little curb right? so it should sit about 2.5 to 3 inches off the ground?

If anyone that thinks it's too low, take another look at the initial pic. It's sitting facing downwards on a curved driveway embankment. Think of it as sitting over a one of those wide speed bumps with a dip at the end. He's probably got 3 to 4 inches of actual ground clearance.

Ya ya its pretty low, BUT as stated, the front wheel was sitting off the curb in the pic.... It has just over 3.5 inched of ground clearance. If I end up thinking that's not enough I'll just change it... It easily gets past 45 degrees before anything scrapes though...

the tank is off a 65' Honda

And I made the hardtail, and everything else on the bike...

updates? kinda, but not much to look at... i finished all welding on the frame the other day. other than rear brake line mounts, its ready to go. last night i got a kickstand fabbed and the mount welded on the frame. still need to get the spring mounts worked out for that and weld the foot on.

i also started making head and tail light mounts. gettin there.

and for some stupid reason, im remaking my seat mount. same basic concept just a little different look... i got the material for that today so it will be tomorrows project.

ill post up more pics as soon an theres somethin else to look at...
