Axel Bike Boxer Engine

friend of mine asked me wether i might build something like this on a boxer-bike basis

i work here in cina on the local manufactured repop-beemers "Chang Jiang" and told him i will give it a try

pic ripped somewhere on the WWW

also i told him i will never be able to copy a v-twin and convert a boxer with plunger-frame, propshaft into something HD lookalike (although Harly also produced Boxers in WW2 "XA")

anyway - see the progress:

frame rewelded and sandblasted

basecoat

final paintjob

inparallel engine polished and refurbished

all spokes sanded and painted (pain in the ass)

final assy started

still final assy

final ride

the checkered plate was the idea of my friend to protect his jeans from getting ripped from the propshaft ... - i don't like that ugly thing ...

due to the fact that i didn't had to bring in that many customs parts the ride was a more or less easy project

the bike was sent to my friend in shanghai and runs without any problems
