    Springer opinions...

O.k., I like the zero engineering springer, Especially the way the rockers are held in double shear by the legs, and that they use roller bearings instead of bushings, (not to mention it's only $1600.00) but I can't run it cause it is 2" under and I need at least 3" over. What is the next best option? Needs to have the old look of lugged legs, be strong/stiff enough for 100+hp bike and be 3" over. What does everybody like?

They're big dough, but with Springers, you get what you pay for.

roller bearing do roll well....but you lose load distrbution area compared to bushing.
A well lubed bushing will outwork a bearing!

Found out before putting on my bro's sporty. Rrear leg's roller bearings were black crust that powdered when I took it apart. Glad I checked first. Races were almost perfect for a pinky rings though
