got some work done on it over the weekend ticking off the little stuff

plate all welded up and fancy pants battery tray machined and welded. a new weld on side stand coz the bulky chrome one was pissig me off, a quick lick of paint and its sitting pretty

got my pile of bits from the laser profil man the other week. a day on the lathe making various shouldered spacers and im good

im not going to break this at least i hope...

It looked nicer with fat-bob tanks. Sportster tank is way too small for this bike, and kinda out of concept with the rest of the bike IMO.

i dig the sportster tank to make everything else look bigger. i think shorter apes pushed more forward would be more cartoon-y (read that as better) too. either way it's sweet.

the mountings on fat bobs and how everything sat when on in the end to clear the motor etc it look like arse in real life

as for short apes pushed forwards, i hate forward pushed apes , but i wouldnt be able to reach further forwards anyways and steel steer the bike. i might change the bars yet, they arent carved in tablets of stone but i dont know what with

but yea its got a comic book kind of vibe to it which i really like on this build.

im into all sorts of shit, so all my stuff is way different to each other, keeps things interesting i think
