I dig it man, and he is my opion match your front and rear tire treads, my opion I like it when they match and for the tank have you thought about a large more square tank? Like one off a n 80's flt? I would clean the top up on it but some thing fat and not so round like the fat bobs. just my opion. want to see more and what direction you go too.

I like when the engine is featured, that looks dinky in there but it's your time and your dime. Go for It! I'm following this build all the way!

a little more for the peanut gallery to look at

got my 16" 1.25 bars thrown on, stock bar controls so i can get this thing registered and tested all legal like - i dont mind them for all the crap they hold really

i hate the seat on it - will make up a rigid fiberglass pan for it and get it upholstered maybe in a nice snake skin or something equally 90s period correct & classy

sold my sidecar the other week so all that money is going on fast part collecting mode at the minute - i have a 9 days booked off work next month and hope to break the back of this one then if i can pull all the parts together in time

oh and i got a really nice ali tank this week - second hand but never run

Looking pretty good. I don't mind the tank, kinda fits with the whole fatness of the bike.

I want to hate on this bike, but I just can't. Sumo, if you can make a fat tire sporty cool, maybe you should change your nickname to "Magician". I applaud you for swimming upstream.

hate away bill, dont feel bad - i have broad shoulders ha.

its going to be a fat tyre sporty, not cool in anyones book i dont think bud. it is what it is, but i like kinda goofy stuff so its fine by me. it feels like it will be a comfy rider and fingers crossed reliable so i see it doing a lot of miles when its done, i dont do show ponies

is there any other option to swimming up stream? consider me a spawning salmon mate

    Default ok...

I'll hate on the bike......... just kidding looks good, the only thing bothering me is the bars. Maybe find a way to get some 2 inch bars and taper down to 1 for controls. Just to go with the rest of the fatness.
    I like it.

the 3.5 tanks just werent working with the way they had to sit really high & the mounting would be dumb and there was a HUGE gap between them etc. so i have a really wide aftermarket king sportster tank on the way - ill see if i like it. a friend of mine just did a split sporty tank so i dont really want to go down that road

Do you have a pic of your friend's split sporty tank?
Now that I have this in mind, I'm curious to see how that looks...
