Thanks for the props. Been debating on polishing the motor. Haven't quite decided yet.
Here's one of my favorite shots.

can we get a picture of you (or preferably a beautiful young lady) on the bike? I'm curious to see the ergonomics.

Ok. Here's a few.. Not exactly the most comfy bike I've built or ridden, but not the worse either..
As the shirt says....
Gonna take about 5" off the end of my pipes when they come in. These are my son's and he wouldn't like it if I cut them up.. lol

Holy Shit!!

Started polishing the cases a few days ago and DAMN,,,, Didn't realize until it was too late how much time is involved.. One case is about 75% finished. Haven't started on the other one yet. I can definitely understand why not many people do this and my hats off to those who have done more than one set... This will probably be the only set I tackle. Any more will be sent out to a pro.
Anywayysss,, Here's a few pics of what I have so far.. I'm not going to try and get them perfect,, Kinda want to keep with the old look.

Small update

Well, It's getting cold outside in Ohio and time to get back to some projects. Here's a couple pics of the motor kinda mocked up. Head is polished, cylinder is coated now. I've got to get off my lazy behind now and finish polishing the case. Then it's order time. Need a set of cams, cam followers, and pushrods. Then she'll be ready for finally assembly, Purty lookin thing eh?

thanks much

With the holidays here, haven't really spent much time on her. Here's a few of it now. I'm having the throttle cable made now, Still need to finish up brake stay rod and shifter linkage. Once that's complete, it'll be a complete tear-down and final assembly. I'm sure i will be asking a few questions about the motor internals soon as I start putting it together... Glad you all are knowledgeable and eager to share![/SIZE]

Thanks..
Lets see if I can get her running though. Finally finished the cases. Went to do the crank and found a bad rod. Have another set now and waiting for the machine shop to fit new rod bolts and small end bushings.
My goal is to have it together for Waseon Vintage Motorcycle meet in July.
