    Suzuki GS450 bratproject

So, this is my little brat-project.
Kinda new to this forum and thought I'd just post a few pics.
Would like to hardtail the bike, but because of strict rules and a ton of paperwork to get it approved here in Norway I'm going for the brat look instead.
This is a GS450E and the stock tank is pretty big, bigger than the L & T series. So I got a cheap Sporty tank, but it doesn't really fit on the stupid triple backbone. Looks good from behind, but not so from the sides. Gonna get me a GS250L tank from Ebay and put that on. Waiting on some new bars, shocks, seat, chain, etc...
Got lots of things left to do on it, so this is just a mock up to see what it could look like.

Looking nice! You need to take it outside for a few pic's...

What you doing with the original tank?

      Guess I'm selling it.

+1 on that, my gs450 screams! It rips around town and will keep up on the interstate. Great gas mileage and it sounds pretty good for a small cc bike. I'm gonna keep an eye out for another one for my oldest sons first bike.

A little update...not much of a bike compared to what all you guys ride around on, but I like it better than stock.

            So far:
            Cut the rear end
Removed front fender and put it on the rear tire
            Put on lower shocks (9")
            New seat (temporary)
            New bars
            New gastank
New swingarm bearings (it was hell getting the old ones out!!)
Off with the blinker and taillight

Dished the sides on the tank. Think it came out pretty good.

            To do:
            Paint
            Put on smaller blinkers
            Put on new chain
Put on taillight and liscence plate holder down by the left shock
            Make new seat
Make electric box under the seat
            New tires
Get rid of the big and ugly speedo box
            Cut off rear passenger pegs
